Description
We are looking for a well experienced Machining Inspector for ELPA located at 2165 St Anne Rd L'Orignal, ON K0B 1K0, Canada.

Job Duties: –
- Develop programs that instruct the CMM on how to measure parts accurately and efficiently. This involves specifying probe movements, measurement routines, alignment procedures, and tolerance checks with or without CAD models.
- Debug existing programs and optimize measurement routines to ensure accurate and reliable results. Which involves adjusting probe paths, optimizing measurement strategies, or fine-tuning alignment procedures.
- Follow customer Quality Management System and inspect towards customers' requirements. Perform first off, in-process and final inspection on high precision parts, working tolerance within 0.000 I"' (0.003mm) and verify parts by carrying out dimensional, functional, and visual inspections. Understand and apply geometric dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T) on manufactured parts (ASME I 4.SM-1994, ASME Y 14.5-2009)
- Prepare First Article Inspection Report or any other quality related documents requested by customers (AS9 I 02) and subsequent customer approvals.
- Use standard hand-measuring instruments (i.e. micrometer, bore gauge, calipers, height gauge, surface roughness tester etc.)
- Maintain and periodically calibrate inspection instruments.
- Maintain ELPA's quality records (Inspection records, Material certificates, RFD's etc.)
- Any other tasks related to this position.
Prerequisites:
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience
Language: English
Experience & Skills: 2 years to less than 3 years of related experience
- Proficient in using a variety of measuring tools including Micrometers, Calipers, Gauges and Verniers
- Proficiency in using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software.
Hourly Rate: $ 29.00 to $ 36.00 per hour for 30.00 to 40.00 hours per Week
Starting Date: As soon as possible
Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent
