Job Title: Machinery Mechanic, powerhouse:(NOC: 7311)

Employer: Tri Province

Location:  158 Toombs St Moncton, NB E1A 3A5

Wage: 27.50 /hr for 40 hrs per week

Job Requirements:

Languages

• English or French

Education

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

• At least 1 -2 years of work experience as mechanic or related field.

Duties:

• Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions
•  Construct foundations for machinery
• Repair or replace defective machinery parts
• Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up
• Perform routine maintenance work on machinery
•  Operate machining tools to fabricate parts
• Program programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
• Operate hoisting and lifting equipment
• Installing machinery and equipment
• Assembling machinery and equipment (prior to installation

Work Conditions

• Repetitive tasks, physically demanding, Attention to detail, Standing for extended periods of times bending, crouching, kneeling, Handling of heavy loads
