Education: Trade Certificate or Diploma or equivalent experience

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Work Site Environment: Noisy

Work Setting: Custom Machine Shop, Manufacture, In Shop

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g. micrometers, calipers)
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery
• Clean and maintain work space
• Operate and set-up machines to perform repetitive machining operations

CREDENTIALS:

Forklift Operator Certification

EXPERIENCE AND SPECIALIZATION:

• Turret Lathes
• Brakes and Presses

TRANSPORTATION / TRAVEL INFORMATION:

• Public transportation is available
• Own vehicle

WORK CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES:

• Manual dexterity
• Hand-eye coordination
• Attention to details

OWN TOOLS / EQUIPMENT: Steel-toed safety boots

PERSONAL SUITABILITY:

• Excellent oral communication
• Reliability
