Position Info:

• Position: Cook
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $17.00-$20.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions: 2
• Work Location: 847 Denman Street, Vancouver, BC V6G 2L7

Benefits:

• 4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes
• Plan and direct food preparation, estimate food requirements and cost for order supplies
• Oversee and manage the kitchen operations
• Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff
• Arrange for the purchase of cooking equipment
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
• Keep kitchen clean and sanitize work areas
• Involve in hiring and training of new kitchen staff in preparation and cooking

Job requirements:

• Language: English
• Experience: 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience are required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
