Description
We are currently seeking a highly proactive, detail-oriented, and reliable Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team in the Warehouse Division. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a vital role in managing the warehousing operations to ensure the accuracy of inventory tracking and managing the movement of goods within the warehouse. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including suppliers, carriers, and internal teams, to coordinate and optimize warehousing activities.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Arranging for the efficient transport of goods from suppliers to the company and from the company to customers
- Overseeing inventory levels, ordering new stock as necessary, and organizing existing inventory to ensure the efficient dispatch and receipt of goods
- Communicating with suppliers to ensure that the supply of materials meets demand, and addressing any issues that may arise with supply
- Responding to customer inquiries regarding order status and delivery times, and resolving any issues that may arise with order fulfillment
- Preparing and processing necessary paperwork for shipments, including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and any customs-related documents
- Ensuring that all aspects of logistics and distribution comply with applicable laws and regulations, including safety and customs regulations
- Working closely with warehouse staff to ensure that goods are received, stored, and shipped efficiently and without error
- Execute all aspects of warehouse operations, which includes handling inbound/outbound orders, coordinating with other departments, drivers, and customers
- Manage and optimize Customers' inventory levels to meet customer demand and minimize carrying costs
- Conduct regular audits and maintain accurate records of inventory, ensuring data integrity by using WMS and Excel
- Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of materials and supplies
- Continuously monitor logistics processes and identify areas for improvement to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to shipments, inventory, or logistics operations
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
- Prepare and analyze logistics reports, providing insights and recommendations for process enhancements
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, carriers, and other logistics partners
Requirements/Education and other requirements
- Completion of a post-secondary education program of less than two years in Business or Supply Chain Management
- 1-2 years of experience in supply chain, logistics or freight forwarding are required
- In-depth and previous experience in Cargowise, INTTRA, Nyshex or other E2E platforms are preferred
- Strong knowledge of liner services and schedules
- Team player who is keen to learn and develop themselves while working in a team
- Ability to work well under pressure and keep track of tight deadlines in multiple time zones simultaneously
- Quick learner and excellent multi-tasker
- Excellent keyboard typing skills and well-versed in Microsoft Office applications
- Detail oriented, systematic, careful, and energetic
- Versatile and a team player
- A problem-solver that works well independently
- Proven experience in working in a warehouse, preferably in a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of logistics processes, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management
- Proficiency in using logistics management software and other relevant tools
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of import/export regulations and international shipping procedures is a plus
- Experience with customs clearance processes and documentation is an advantage
