Description
We are looking for a female caregiver for a 76 year old woman with disability
Assist with walking using walker
Assist with personal hygiene
Ensure her safety at all times
Meal preparation
Assist in taking her medication
Companionship
Light household chores
Salary: $16.00/hour 40 hours/wk, overtime pay $24.00/hr after 44 hours
Additional Skills: Punctuality, Client focus, Reliability, Judgement, Excellent oral communication, Initiative, Flexibility, Dependability, Effective interpersonal skills, Organized
Education Requirements: High School Graduate or equivalent.
Essential Skills: Feed or assist in feeding, Provide personal care, Provide companionship, Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, Launder clothing and household linens, Administer bedside and personal care, Prepare and serve nutritious meals
Experience: At least with 1 year experience in taking care of person with disability.
Languages: English
Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
Work Settings/Conditions: Work in employer’s/client’s home, non – smoking
