Description

One full-time vacancy Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM for 40 hrs/wk at $18.25 hr.  Duties include administering medications and assiting with regular exercise.  Light housekeeping, laundering linens and clothing.  Assists with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene.  Performs light housekeeping and cleaning duties.  Prepares and serves nutritious meals.  Provides personal care and companionship.  Assumes full responsibility of the household in the absence of the householder.  Urban area.  Non-smoking and scent-sensitive working environment.

Education Level

Secondary (High School) certificate or equivalent experience.

 

Required Skills

One year to less than 2 years of experience.

 

Additional Skills and/or Assets

Requires CPR and First Aid certificates.  Criminal Record check required.  Physical capabilities include:  bending, crouching, kneeling, sitting, standing and walking.  Face paced environment with repetitive tasks.  Must be able to handle weight of between 45 and 60 kgs. (100 – 132 lbs).
