Edmonton, Alberta
One Full-Time Vacancy
$18.00/hr for 40/hrs a week
Morning and day from 8 AM to 430 PM Monday – Friday
Required as soon as possible
Administers medications and assists with regular exercise (e.g., walking). Provides personal care, performs light housekeeping, and cleaning duties. Assists with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene. Prepares and services nutritious meals.
Required Language: English
Education Level: Secondary (high) school certificate or equivalent experience.
Required Skills: One to less than 2 years of experience. Working conditions and physical capabilities include bending, crouching, kneeling, a combination of sitting, standing, walking, physically demanding, and repetitive tasks. First Aid Certificate is required.
Additional Skills / Assets: Punctual, organized, effective interpersonal skills, dependable, flexible, initiative, excellent oral communication skills, judgment, reliable, and client-focused.
The successful candidate will live and work in the employer’s home in an urban area. Immunization records, references, and a Vulnerable sector check are required. A non-smoking and scent-sensitive working environment. Public transportation is available.
