Position Info:

·         Position: Seamstress

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $19.50-22.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  2

·         Work Location: #101-681 Columbia St, New Westminster, BC, V3M 1A8

Benefits:

·         4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

·         Fit, alter and repair garments according to customers’ requests by hand or using sewing machines

·         Make made-to-measure garments according to customer and manufacturing specifications

·         Operate sewing machines or sew by hand

·         Mark, cut and sew fabric

·         Select and modify commercial patterns to customers’ and clothing manufacturers’ specifications

Job requirements:

·         Language: English

·         Experience: 1~2 years of related experience are required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required
