Clove is actively looking to hire Two (2)Line Cooks (NOC 6322) and Three (3)Food and Beverage Server Cooks (NOC 6513)  for a permanent, full time position to work in our Fine Dining Restaurant in Surrey, BC.

 

Company Description: “Clove” is a gourmet dining Indian Restaurant. Our goal is to keep our restaurant at a par with the best Indian restaurants across the globe and provide world class ambience to our guests. We offer multiple cuisines with Indo-Western fusion.  We are looking to establish a benchmark in the restaurant industry and take the hospitality standards one notch up, with chefs and cooks trained in niche culinary areas and with servers providing the highest level of customer service.

Job Description for Line Cook

Job Duties:

 

Prepare and Cook Indian food items on the restaurant menu, coordinate with specialty cooks to get food out in a timely fashion, order supplies, maintenance of inventory and equipment, supervise and develop kitchen staff, keep the kitchen, and work area clean at all times.

 

Experience and Education Required:

 

  • Secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2-3 years of training and experience is required.
  • Excellent oral communication in English

 

Skills:

  • Advanced knowledge of distinct cuisines and flavours of the other countries in the Indian sub-continent

 

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

  • Ability to multitask, Flexibility, Reliability, Organized, Team player, Accurate 

Wage & Hours: $16.00 per hour, 8-10 hours per day, 40-50 hours per week. Overtime pay after 40 hours per week.

Benefits: Vacation 4% Renumeration.

Job Description for Food & Beverage Server

Job Duties: 

Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order, Attend to customers upon entrance, Present restaurant menus and help customers select food/beverages, Take and serve orders, Answer questions or make recommendations for complementary products, Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen staff, Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude,Issue bills and accept payment

Experience and Education Required:

 

  • Secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Any Experience is an asset
  • Excellent oral communication in English

 

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

  • Ability to multitask, Flexibility, Reliability, Organized, Team player, Accurate 

Wage & Hours: $15.50 per hour, 8-10 hours per day, 40-50 hours per week. Overtime pay after 40 hours per week.

Benefits: Vacation 4% Renumeration.
