Education: Secondary (High) school graduation certificate or equivalent
Experience: 2 years to 3 years
Duties & Responsibilities:
Duties may include but are not limited to the following items:
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
- Clean kitchen and work areas
- Inspect kitchen and food services areas
- Report to managers when something is broken or needs repair
- Able to prepare food according to food handlers guidelines
- Ensures cleanliness and hygiene is maintained in the various kitchen areas including refrigerators and storerooms
- Ensures food is stored in appropriate containers, labeled, and rotated to ensure high standards of freshness, minimizing waste and maximizing quality

Additional Required Qualifications:
• Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
• Knowledge of cooking procedures
• Knowledge of safety rules for kitchen equipment
• Fluent in English
• Minimum 2 years related experience
• Flexible with job duties- schedules
• Able to work in a high pace and hot environment
• Able to multitask
• Excellent customer service

Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, physically demanding, and attention to detail.
