Position Info:

• Position: Hairstylists
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $22.00~$25.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  2
• Work Location: 690 Broughton Street, Victoria, BC V8W 1C9

Benefits:

• 4% vacation pay
• Dental and Health care plan after 1 year

Job Duties:

• Propose hairstyle to customer based on their physical appearance or instructions
• Examine hair and scalp condition and provide basic hair treatment
• Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm, and style hair
• Apply bleach, tints, dyes or rinses to colour hair
• Shampoo, rinse hair, and provide extra hair product if necessary
• Train and supervise hairstylist apprentices and other staff

Job requirements:

• Experience: 2~3 years of experience as a hairstylist are required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
• Language: English
