Description
We are looking for a “Laundry Supervisor” for Days Inn & Suites – Sherwood Park located at 201 Palisades Way, Sherwood Park, AB T8H 0N3 Canada.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate the work of dry cleaning, laundry, ironing, pressing, and finishing staff.
- Assign tasks and review the performance of laundry and housekeeping workers.
- Establish work schedules and procedures, ensuring smooth workflow and coordination with other departments.
- Resolve work-related problems and prepare and submit progress and other reports.
- Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
- Requisition supplies and materials necessary for daily operations.
- Ensure the smooth operation of computer systems, equipment, and machinery, arranging for maintenance and repairs as needed.
- Monitor quality and production levels to meet hotel standards.
- Oversee the inventory and manage stock levels of cleaning supplies and linen.
- Perform laundry and housekeeping duties as needed to support the team.
- May perform other duties reasonably assigned.
Prerequisites:
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience & Skills: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience.
Language: English
Hourly Rate: $21.63 to $ 27.00 per hour for 30 to 40 hours per week
Starting Date: As soon as possible
Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent
Benefits: 4 % vacation pay
