Job Title: Landscape Foreman / Forewoman (NOC 8255)

Number of Openings: 8

Job Duties:

• Manage and supervise landscape crews;
• Manage and maintain project schedules;
• Resolve work related issues;
• Organize and direct landscaping tasks;
• Determine worker competency;
• Operate equipment (sod cutter, skid steer, loader, mini hoe);
• Use handheld tools;
• Maintain cleanliness on the jobsite / housekeeping;
• Assist with landscaping tasks as needed;
• Manage all site documentation and verify completeness;
• Conduct site inspections;
• Other supervisory tasks as needed.

Job Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as a Landscape Foreman/woman
• CSTS training (is an asset);
• Leadership for Safety Excellence training (is an asset);
• Valid Driver’s license with clean driver’s abstract;
• Able to successfully complete a drug & alcohol pre-screening and criminal record check;
• Ability to work long hours (10 – 12 hours per day);
• Must be able to work in varied and extreme (hot) weather conditions;
• Physically fit and capable of lifting +50lbs;
• Strong work ethic;
• Safety conscious;
• Must be able to legally work in Canada.

Terms of Employment: Full time, permanent

Wage: $26.00 per hour
