Kosoo Restaurant is looking for F/T Line Cooks

Description

Position Info:

·         Position: Line Cook

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $21.00~$22.50/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  2

·         Work Location: 832 Cardero Street, Vancouver BC V6G 2G5

Benefits:

·         10 days paid vacation per year or 4% of vacation pay

Job Duties:

·         Prepare and cook complete meals and dishes for customers.

·         Determine size of food portions and monitor and order supplies.

·         Check food and ingredients for freshness.

·         Oversee kitchen operation and inspect kitchens and food service areas.

·         Ensure kitchen staff is properly trained on each menu item and cooking food.

·         Supervise kitchen staff and helpers.

·         Maintain kitchen inventory, supplies and equipment.

·         Maintain good sanitation around work area.

Job requirements:

·         Language: English

·         Experience: 2~3 years of experience of commercial cooking are required.

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
