Kosoo Restaurant is looking for F/T Chef.

Description

Position Info:

·         Position: Chef

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $28~$30/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30~40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  1

·         Work Location: 832 Cardero Street, Vancouver BC V6G 2G5

Benefits:

·         10 days paid vacation per year or 4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

·         Plan and direct food preparation within the restaurant

·         Estimate food requirements, and requisition food and kitchen supplies

·         Manage and supervise activities of cooks

·         Prepare and cook meals or specialty foods

·         Plan menus and ensure food meets quality of standards

·         Recruit and hire cooks and kitchen staffs

·         Maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory

·         Train kitchen staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food

Job requirements:

·         Experience: 2~3 years of experience in commercial food preparation as a chef are required

·         Education: Completion of Secondary School is required

·         Language: English
