Position Info:

• Position: Cook
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $17.62~$18.00/hour (depending on Experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  4
• Work Location: 1128 Robson Street, Vancouver, BC V6E 1B2

Benefits:

• 10 days paid vacation per year or 4% of vacation pay

Job Duties:

• Prepare an extensive variety of foods utilizing standardized recipes.
• Always maintain the food prep area and kitchen cleaned and sanitized.
• Maintain accurate food inventories and order kitchen supplies when needed.
• Oversee kitchen operations and supervise kitchen helpers.
• Ensure staff is thoroughly trained on each menu item.
• May assist in hiring and recruitment of new staff.

Job requirements:

• Language: English
• Experience: 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience are required.
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
