Karai Sushi & Korean Fried Chicken is seeking F/T Cooks.
Position Info:
- Position: Cook
- Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
- Wage: $16.50~$19.00/hour (depending on experience)
- Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
- Number of Positions: 2
- Work Location: 7145 Market Street, Port Hardy, BC V0N 2P0
Benefits:
- 4% vacation pay
Job Duties:
- Prepare and cook various types of food items.
- Manage kitchen operations and oversee kitchen staff and helpers.
- Keep records of inventory, food and all the supplies.
- Monitor and purchase supplies and equipment.
- May plan menus and estimate costs.
- Inspect and ensure that the food preparation area and kitchen are cleaned and sanitized.
- May assist in hiring and recruiting new kitchen staff.
Job requirements:
- Experience: 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience are required.
- Education: Completion of Secondary School is required.
- Language: English
