MAIN JOB DUTIES
• Responsible for plumbing installations, maintenance, repairs, modifications, and remodeling of existing structures.
• Perform plumbing and pipefitting installation and maintenance on water, sewage, compressed air, heating and air conditioning systems.
• Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine layout of plumbing system, water supply network and waste and drainage systems,
• Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes and fixtures in walls and floors,
• Cut opening in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings,
• Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or soldering, brazing and welding equipment,
• Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges,
• Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing,
• Measure, cut, thread and bend pipes to required shape and size
• Perform emergency service as needed.
• Operate power and hand tools as required to perform the duties of the job.
• Supervise and train apprentices
• Other duties as assigned by management.

OTHER INFORMATION
Work Experience Required: 1 years to 2 years experience
Minimum Education Required: Trade Certificate
Language: English workplace language
Wage Range: $36.00 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week
Overtime: Hours over 8 per day/40 per week
