Position Info:

·         Position: Restaurant Manager

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $26.50~28.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  1

·         Work Location: 220-4501 North Rd., Burnaby BC V3N 4R7

Benefits:

·         10 days paid vacation per year or 4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

·         Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of a restaurant, bar, cafeteria or other food or beverage service

·         Recruit staff and oversee staff training

·         Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance

·         Control inventory, monitor revenues and modify procedures and prices

·         Resolve customer complaints

·         Monitor health and safety conducts are ensured accordingly

·         Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for the cost of supplies

·         Complete cash balances, cash reports, and related forms

Job requirements:

·         Language: English

·         Experience: 2-3 years of experience in the food service sector, including supervisory experience, are required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required
