Jacob’s Noodle & Cutlet is seeking F/T Cooks.
Position Info:
- Position: Cook
- Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
- Wage: $16~$19/hour (depending on experience)
- Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
- Number of Positions: 2
- Work Location: 260 4 Ave, Kamloops, BC V2C 3N5
Benefits:
- 4% vacation pay
Job Duties:
- Prepare and cook food as directed
- May hire and train kitchen staff
- Set staff work schedule and supervise kitchen helpers
- Ensure food service and quality control
- Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
- Keep records and accounts of food, supplies, and equipment
- Monitor stock of supplies, ingredients, and place orders when there are shortages
- Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
- Plan menus and devise new recipes
- Manage kitchen operations
Job requirements:
- Language: English
- Experience: 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience are required.
- Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
