Job description:
485975 B.C. Ltd. DBA Sussex Insurance is hiring one full time Insurance Agent to join their team.
Job duties:
1. Sell various type of insurance policies including automobile, travel, property, marine and business insurance.
2. Seek out new clients and develop clientele by networking to find new customers and generate lists of prospective clients.
3. Maintain the records and handles the policies renewals.
4. Establish client insurance coverage, calculate premiums and establish method of payment.
5. Run quoting software and pre-fill applications.
6. Contact the policyholders to deliver and explain policy, to analyze insurance program and suggest additions or changes, or to change beneficiaries.
7. Ensure appropriate forms, and other policy requirements are completed.
8. Monitor insurance claims and respond to clients’ enquiries
9. Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
* Completion of high school is required.
* Licensure by the insurance governing body in the province or territory of employment is required.
