Location: 56115 RANGE RD 234, Duagh (Sturgeon County), AB T0A 0K4
Salary: $24.00 to $25.00 / hour (To be negotiated)
Vacancies: 2 vacancies
Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time 40 hours / week
Start date: As soon as possible
Employment conditions: Overtime, Day
Job requirements:
Languages: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination, Standing for extended periods, Bending, crouching, kneeling
Work Site Environment: Noisy, Odours, Cold/refrigerated
Personal Suitability: Team player
Equipment and Machinery Experience: Knives, Stunning devices, Power cutting tools, Saws
Specific Skills: Slaughter livestock and remove viscera and other inedible parts from carcasses, Cut beef, lamb, pork or veal carcasses or sides or quarters of carcasses into primal cuts for further cutting, processing or packaging, Remove bones from meat
Weight Handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
Work Setting: Slaughter houses, Meat processing and/or packing plant/establishment
