Room attendant

Chalet Continental Motel is looking to fill 2 position as Room attendant who are reliable and who love customer care for our Motel located in beautiful Valemount, B.C.

Valemount surrounded by the beautiful mountains and located 120 kilometers from Jasper National Park.

It is becoming a popular tourist destination for nature explorers, mountain bikers and snowmobiler.

 

 

The job Duties include:

• Clean and sanitize all aspects of the guest rooms which include full kitchen, balconies, bathrooms.
• Maintain a high level of guest service and ensure rapid and professional response to all gueat requests.
• Stipes used beds, towel and Make beds and change sheets, towel.
• Sweep, mop, wash, Emptying garbage, cleaning up recycling, wax and polish floors.
• Vacuum carpeting, area rug, draperies.
• Cleaning window, doors, walls, furniture, light fixtures.
• Cleaning bathtubs, bath room floor, toilet, wipe exposed pipes, mirrors, sinks, faucet, replace towels and amenities.
• Restock housekeeping supplies, clean public area, hallway, entrance.
• Handle and report lost and found items.
• Push, pull and stock housekeeping cart.
• Work on own or in teams as required.
• Participate in deep cleaning.

Qualifications:

• Previous housekeeping experience.
• Time management skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Attention to detail, organizational skills and observation skill.
• Ability to understand and communicate in written and spoken English.
• Physical fitness and strength.
• Friendly and enthusiastic manner, great sense of cooperation and team work.

Education:

Minimum of secondary school required
