Housekeeping Attendant

Job Title: Housekeeping Attendant (NOC: 6731)

Employer: Residence De L’harmonie

Location:  106 Rue Providence, Shediac, NB E4P 2N1

Wage: 15 /hr for 40 hrs per week

Vacancy:  1 vacancy

Employment groups to include: persons with disabilities, indigenous, newcomers to Canada, student, and vulnerable youth

Terms of employment: Full time, Term or contract

Start Date: as soon as possible

Job Requirements:

Languages

• English or French

Education

• Secondary education

Experience

·       No experience required, will train

Duties:

·      Cleans areas such as floors, stairways, walls, windows and walkways, carpets and rugs

·      Cleans items such as furniture, woodwork, ledges, fixtures and blinds/ curtains

·      Cleans and sanitizes washrooms and replenishes items such as soap and towels

·      Maintains cleanliness and organization of resident rooms and washrooms

·      Prepares cleaning solutions and utilizes cleaning supplies in accordance with established procedures

·      Empties and cleans waste containers and removes garbage from building

·       Helps remove furniture from rooms and puts in storage area

·      Preforms other related duties as assigned.
