Rai Family residing at Surrey, BC is looking to hire a Home support worker for their 78-year-old senior.

Job Title:  Home support worker (44101)

Salary: $23.00/Hour for 40 hours a week

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Language: English

Minimum Education: High School

Positions Available: 1

Job Location: Private Home located in Surrey, BC

Requirements:

• Completion of High School
• Minimum of 1-year full time paid work experience in similar positions
• Completion of a 6-month full-time classroom training in a related field is an asset
• Must have a flexible schedule and be available for early morning, day, early evening, and split shifts as the senior’s schedule

Duties

• Assist with daily routine from bed to washroom, bathing, personal care, dressing and undressing
• Provide care and companionship to the senior
• Plan and prepare nutritious meals and special diets, and feed or assist in feeding
• Support in the administration of medications and collecting specimens under the general direction of home care agency supervisor or nurse
• Perform some routine housekeeping duties related to senior such as laundry, washing dishes and making beds
• Complete other related duties as required
