(Home Support Worker)
We are looking for a Home Support Worker for Stefanie Marinich-Lee located at Suites 1429-60 Heintzman Street Toronto, ON M6P 5A1 Canada.

JOB DUTIES:

Assist with dressing, footwear, and grooming to maintain dignity and personal appearance.

Help with safe movement around the home, including using mobility aids as needed.

Monitor and document physical and emotional well-being, reporting concerns promptly.

Plan, cook, and serve meals, ensuring proper portioning and dietary compliance.

Encourage and support independent living skills whenever possible.

Change bed linens, sanitize frequently used areas, and maintain overall home cleanliness.

Provide medication reminders as prescribed.

Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry, bed-making, and cleaning.

Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities such as conversation, reading, and music.

Support daily routines and exercises recommended by healthcare professionals.

Prevent falls and accidents by ensuring a safe home environment.

Escort to medical appointments and community outings.
Prerequisites:
Education: Secondary School Certificate or equivalent experience
Experience & Skills: 1 years to less than 2 years of experience
Language: English
Hourly Wage: $20 for 30 Hours per week
Starting Date: As soon as possible
Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent
Benefits: 4 % Vacation Pay
