Home support worker

Description

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

1.     Provide personal care to senior at home, including assistance with feeding and dressing.

2.     Prepare and serve meals tailored to the dietary needs of senior.

3.     Help senior with mobility issues, ensuring safety while moving indoors.

4.     Provide reminders for medication schedules to senior.

5.     Perform light housekeeping tasks and keep the home clean.

6.     Maintain a safe and healthy home environment.

7.     Maintain open communication with both senior and family members.

Required Qualifications and Experience: 

·       Education: Secondary school graduation certificate, home support/caregiver related training is required

·       Work Experience: Related work experience preferred

·       Language: English

·       Asset Language: Mandarin

·       Personal Suitability: Reliable, patient, organized

Working Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Work Location:  Employer’s home
