Home health care worker (Permanent, Full time 30 to 40 hours / week) RD Family Location: Woodbridge, ON (ISLINGTON AVE and KILORAN AVE) Salary $18.00 to $18.50 / hour (To be negotiated) Vacancies: 1 Vacancy Start date: As soon as possible Employment groups: Students, Youth, Veterans of the Canadian Armed Forces, Visible minorities, Persons with disabilities, Indigenous people, Newcomers to Canada Work Setting: Work in the employer's/client's home. Public transportation is available Specific Skills: Care for an elderly woman and a man with a disability. Duties are: Mend clothing and linens, Administer bedside and personal care, Launder clothing and household linens, Assume full responsibility for household (in absence of householder), Provide personal care, Provide companionship, Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, Prepare and serve nutritious meals Job requirements Languages: English Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years Security and Safety: Criminal record check Work Site Environment: Non-smoking Personal Suitability: Punctuality, Organized, Effective interpersonal skills, Dependability, Flexibility, Initiative, Reliability, Client focus Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs) How to apply Please send resume to: rrdifilips@gmail.com
