Heavy Equipment Mechanic Helper

Job Title: Heavy Equipment Mechanic Helper (NOC 75119)

Employer: 99 Truck Parts & Industrial Equipment Ltd.

Location:  12905 King George Blvd Surrey BC V3T 2T1

Wage: 21/hr 40 hours per week

Vacancy:  1 vacancy

Job Requirements:

Languages

• English or French

Education

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

• No experience required, will be trained and experience is an asset.

Duties:

·      Assist the mechanic in the following duties:

o   Repairing and maintaining industrial machines and equipment

o   Mechanical, electrical and body repairs of trucks and heavy equipment.

·      Organize and maintain inventory

·      Maintain the cleanliness of the workplace

·      Move tools, equipment and other materials

·      Signal safety procedures to other workers and to the general public

Work Conditions:

·      Physically demanding, manual dexterity, combination of sitting, standing, walking, Handling heavy loads, large workload, work under pressure
