Hearthstone Pizzeria is seeking F/T Cooks.

Description

Position Info:

·         Position: Cook

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $16.75~$19.25/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30~40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  2

·         Work Location: 25-2755 Lougheed Hwy, Port Coquitlam, BC V3B 5Y9

Benefits:

·         4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

·         Check ingredients for freshness and prepare them to use in cooking.

·         Cook food items according to standardized recipes or customers’ requests.

·         Plan menus and determine the size of food portions and food requirements.

·         Oversee kitchen operations.

·         Clean kitchen and cooking equipment to ensure they are in hygienic conditions.

·         Monitor inventory and keep records of food, supplies, and equipment.

·         Order supplies and equipment when needed.

·         Participate in training and hiring kitchen staff.

Job requirements:

·         Experience: 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience are required.

·         Education: Completion of Secondary School is required.

·         Language: English
