Momo Sushi Cafe Ltd. o/a Momo Sushi Japanese Restaurant in Kelowna, BC seeks a Head Cook

Position: Head Cook

Job Type: Permanent

Job Location: 377 Bernard Avenue, Kelowna, BC V1Y 6N6

Wage: $30.00~$35.00 per hour (depend on experience)

Working Hours: 30~40 hours per week

Job duties:

• Oversee the daily process of running a kitchen and manage food preparation
• Direct kitchen staff and handle all food-related issues
• Prepare and cook individual Japanese dishes such as sushi rolls and sashimi
• Plan menus and create new recipes
• Take responsibility for the health and safety of the food team
• Order food and supplies, such as kitchen equipment, and keep an updated inventory
• Hire and train kitchen staff

Requirements:

• Language: English
• Education: Completion of high school
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of cook experience
