Havana Vancouver is seeking a Full-Time Chef de Partie
Position Info:
- Position: Chef de Partie
- Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
- Wage: $20.00~$23.00/hour (depending on experience)
- Working Hours: 30~40 hours/week
- Number of Positions: 1
- Work Location: 1212 Commercial Drive, Vancouver, BC V5L 3X4
Benefits:
- 5 days of paid sick leave per year
- 4% vacation pay
Job Duties:
- Keep records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory
- Supervise activities of cooks and other kitchen staff
- Prepare and cook complete meals or speciality foods
- Instruct cooks in preparing, cooking, and garnishing foods
- May plan menus and create new recipes
- Make sure foods meet quality standards
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies
Job requirements:
- Education: Completion of secondary school is required
- Experience: 2~3 years of experience in commercial food preparation are required
- Language: English
