Gymnastics Coach

Royal City Cheer and Tumbling Society is looking for a dedicated, energetic, passionate, high-quality gymnastics coach willing to deliver team-based, high-intensity training. The ideal candidate has a passion for gymnastics; has mastered the skills of teaching all ages, motivation, multi-tasking, and brings daily contagious good energy. • Position: Gymnastics Coach (53201)
• Work Hours: 30-35 hrs per week
• Wage: $23.33
• Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
• Start date: ASAP
• Benefits: 4% gross salary in lieu of vacation

Key duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinate competitive programs
• Develop well planned competitive schedules and programs
• Plan, develop and implement training and practice sessions
• Motivate and prepare teams for competitive events
• Analyze and evaluate gymnastics team's performance
• Observe and evaluate student’s skills and performance
• Prepare reports and program activities
• Create fun learning environment for children ages 1 year and up
• Provide instruction in a variety of atmospheres: classes, birthdays, field trips, and more.

 

Requirements/Education and other requirements

• Completion of degree in physical education is required
• 2 years to less than 3 years of work experience working, or training, in the fitness environment
• First Aid or emergency care certification is usually required
• Understanding of safety practices
• Excellent time-management skills and flexibility
• Great communication and customer service skills
• Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment
