We are seeking a Guest Services Manager at 1050 Paignton House Road, Minett, ON P0B 1G0, Canada.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate policies and procedures for the operation of the hotel.

  • Prepare budgets and monitor revenues and expenses to ensure financial objectives are met.

  • Recruit, supervise, and train staff, setting work schedules and ensuring high performance standards.

  • Resolve customer complaints and respond to inquiries, ensuring guest satisfaction and maintaining the hotel's reputation.

  • Negotiate with suppliers for the provision of materials and supplies necessary for the department's operations.

  • Coordinate with clients for the use of facilities for conventions, banquets, receptions, and other functions, ensuring all arrangements meet client expectations.

  • Oversee front desk operations, including check-in/check-out procedures, billing accuracy, and seamless communication between departments.

  • Monitor guest feedback through reviews and surveys, implementing improvements to enhance service quality.

  • Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms and public areas meet brand standards.

  • Enforce health and safety regulations, ensuring a secure environment for both guests and staff.

  • Assist in planning and coordinating special events, promotional activities, and corporate functions.

  • Work closely with marketing and sales teams to drive bookings and enhance guest experiences.

  • Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, guest retention, and employee engagement.

 

Prerequisites:

 

Education: Secondary school or equivalent

Language: English

Annual Salary: $70000 for 35 hours per week

Starting Date: As soon as possible

Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent
