Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Work start date: As soon as possible
Wage rate: $21.00 per hour for 40 hours per week
Language: English (basic)
Benefits: 4 % Vacation pay
A.G.L Glazing Inc. located in the lower mainland is looking for 3 glazier helpers to join its team.
Job Duties:
- Help lift, move, and carry glass on and off machines with other employees
- Assist other employees with many tasks including edging, sanding, drilling holes, laminating, etc
- Help load and unload customer glass
- Clean shop (sweeping, mopping, dusting, tidying work areas)
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding
Weight Handling: Lift up to 50 lbs.
Essential Skills: Team player, flexible, reliable, attention to detail, effective interpersonal skills
Job Requirements:
Education: No specific education is required
Experience: on the job training (experience is an asset)
Language: Basic English
Working setting: The candidate should be available to work full-time on weekends, if required.
Working Conditions: Should be willing to work outdoors, indoors, rain, or shine. Aboriginals, and newcomers who meet the abovementioned criteria are more than welcome to apply for the job.
