Description

Position: Restaurant Cook

Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

Wage: $14.60 – $18.00 /hour (depending on Experience)

Hours: 30-40 hours per week

Benefits:

• 4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

• Prepares complete Thai meals: Pad Thai, Curry, Fried Rice, Yakiudon, and other signature menus

• Plan new menu items, regulate size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and purchase supplies

• Order kitchen supplies and equipment

• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.

• Inspect kitchens and food service areas

• Always keep kitchen and food preparation area clean and sanitized

• Supervise kitchen helpers and other staffs

• Train other kitchen helpers in preparation, cooking and handling food items

• Involve in recruiting process of kitchen helpers

Job requirements:

• Minimum 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience

Educational Requirements:

• Completion of secondary school

Language Requirements:

• English
