4412 – Home support workers, housekeepers and related occupations

I am looking for caregiver for my mother who is 70 years of age. She is incapable of doing the daily routine tasks due to the age and some medical conditions. She needs someone to help her in performing daily chores such as help in mobilizing, medication distribution, cleaning and preparing special diet meals and laundry chores etc.
Below is the relative duties of this job category:
Home support workers provide personal care and companionship for seniors, Care is provided within the client’s residence. They will be responsible for other duties such as housekeeping and other home management duties in private households

• Provide care and companionship for individuals and families during periods of incapacitation

• Administer bedside and personal care to clients such as aid in ambulation, bathing, personal hygiene, and dressing and undressing
• Plan and prepare meals and special diets, and feed or assist in feeding clients
• May perform routine health-related duties such as changing non-sterile dressings, assisting in the administration of medications
• May perform routine housekeeping duties such as laundry, washing dishes, food cooking and making beds.
Pay Scale: $20.00-21.00 per hour depending on work experience
Work hours: 30-35 hours
Vacation pay: two weeks of paid vacation
Starting date: as soon as possible (Priority will be given to Canadians Citizens or Permanent Residence)
Language: English language is essential for this job
Medical: Medical insurance will be provide
Willing to pay relocation expenses and live in accommodation if needed.
