We are looking for a Food Services Manager for our clients. You will report to Dalhousie University, 6230 Coburg Rd, Halifax, NS B3H 1Z7, Canada. However, you will be required to work at various locations in the region.

JOB DUTIES:
- Oversee the operation of food services, reception, and maintenance.
- Incorporate person-centered care principles into operations.
- Act as liaison between Aramark direct reports and client representatives.
- Develop and evaluate menus and nourishment cycles with the site dietitian and Aramark Corporate Menu Development team.
- Organize and delegate preparation and delivery of resident and client-catered functions.
- Prepare annual budget and monitor revenues and expenses.
- Prepare monthly reports for the client.
- Conduct monthly Food Safe Audits, Resident Satisfaction Surveys, and Housekeeping Audits.
- Participate in client meetings, including monthly Leadership and Resident Council meetings.
- Ensure compliance with Aramark audits, Business Conduct Policy, and Health & Safety initiatives.
- Oversee Human Resources functions, including recruiting, training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Investigate and resolve resident, family, and employee concerns and complaints.
- Attend Aramark meetings and functions.
- Maintain current knowledge of best practices in senior living and incorporate emerging trends.
- May perform other duties reasonably assigned.
Prerequisites:
Education: College Diploma with a Management, Hotel/Restaurant or Dietetic specialty, or 5 years related experience.
Language: English
Others:
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Must successfully complete the required training program within the defined probationary period.
Must have the ability to communicate effectively with residents, clients, staff, and co-workers.
Must have the physical capabilities required for light lifting and frequent walking
In addition, incumbent must be flexible and adapt easily to changes in schedule, work assignments and environment. Must be willing and capable of working in fast paced environment.
Hourly Rate: $ 24 to $ 30 per Hour for 30 to 40 hours per week
Starting Date: As soon as possible
Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent
