Position: Food Service Supervisor

Working Hours: 40hrs per week, 5days a week

Wage: $15.20 per hour

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

In 2014, our 2nd Espresso Bar opened in Vancouver's historic district, Gastown, at Holland Park building, an iconic corner of Water Street and Cordova Street. Buro restored the exterior façade and integrated the triangular shaped architecture into the interior space. The positive reception from local residents, professionals, and local artists has been the base of our successful journey. We remain committed to making the finest coffee possible, and now looking for a Food Service Supervisor to join our team.

 

 

 

Main duties

 

• Operate each station, cashier, condiments & espresso bar efficiently

• Welcome guests & ensure genuine attention to each order

• Accurately prepare orders as per set recipe portions to ensure balanced taste

• Maintain precise knowledge of menu items and food handling procedures

• Apply safest hygiene practices at all times as per most up-to-date Health measures

• Continuously inspect surfaces & fixtures, temperature & sanitizing levels

• Replenish & Re-stock condiments & packaging on going

• Order weekly supplies, inventory check, organize storage on FIFO basis

• Train and support junior staff at each station & provide weekly performance reports

• Opening or Closing responsibilities as per set checklists and manuals

 

 

Employment Requirements

 

• Completion of secondary school

• Flexible availability for weekends & holidays

• At least 1 year of experience in fast food service

• English language ability is required
