Wages:                       $17.00 per hour, 30 to 44 hours a week

Language of work:      English

Shifts:                         Weekdays, plus one weekend day

We are seeking self-motivated Food Service Supervisors to direct and co-ordinate the activities of our restaurant workers. 

The successful candidates will also participate in various safety and training activities designed to maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Job Duties:

  • Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food;
  • Establish work schedules and procedures;
  • Prepare food order summaries requested by restaurant Manager or General Manager;
  • Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation;
  • Maintain records of sales and wastage;
  • Train staff on job duties, sanitation and safety procedures;
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards set by the SUBWAY franchise.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a community college program in food service administration, hotel and restaurant management or related discipline OR Minimum 3 years of experience in food preparation or service are required.
  • Must have good time management skills;
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
