Skills Requirements:

  • Education: Completion of secondary/high school graduation
  • Work experience: 7 months to 1 year work experience required

Job Duties:

•Supervise, coordinate, and manage the daily activities of the food counter attendant and commis chef, ensuring smooth operations in food preparation, portioning, and service 

•Monitor inventory levels and place orders for ingredients and supplies needed for preparing noodles, burgers, Chinese food, shawarma, momos, and shakes, ensuring consistent availability

•Develop and maintain work schedules, ensuring that shifts are covered and staff assignments align with daily operational needs 

•Review and organize customer orders, providing clear and accurate instructions to the commis chef for timely and precise meal preparation 

•Keep accurate records of stock levels, equipment repairs, sales performance, and food wastage to ensure efficient operations 

•Train the food counter attendant and commis chef on their specific job duties, including maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and safety procedures 

•Regularly inspect food quality and service standards, ensuring that all meals meet the restaurant's quality control guidelines

•Assist in the hiring process, and contribute to the development of operational policies and budgets to improve efficiency and service 

•Occasionally plan menus, and calculate the associated food and labor costs to optimize profitability
