Food Service Supervisor, Cook, Waiter/Waitress and Kitchen Helper Wanted
I – Food Service Supervisor
Job Duties:
Permanent full time Food Service Supervisor : 1 positions. Start wage is $18.65/hour. 35-40 hours per week. Working time would be days, mornings, evenings, nights and weekends. Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food; Ensure food service and quality control; Address customers' complaints or concerns; Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage; Prepare and submit reports; Must have knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres; Supervise and check assembly of trays; Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys, Establish work schedules. High school diploma is required. Must have at least 2 years related experience. Equivalence considered.
II – Kitchen Helper
Job Duties
Permanent full time Kitchen Helper: 2 position. Start wage is $15.5/hour. 35-40 hours per week. Working time would be days, evenings, nights and weekends. Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware and flatware; Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand; Scour pots and pans; Package take-out food; Prepare, heat and finish simple food items; Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas; Remove kitchen garbage and trash; Sharpen kitchen knives; Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors; Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit. Experience an asset. High School diploma is required. Equivalence considered
III – Waiter/Waitress
Job Duties
Permanent full time Waiter/Waitress: 2 positions. Start wage is $17.0/hour. 35-40 hours per week. Working time would be days, evenings, nights and weekends. Address customers' complaints or concerns; Prepare and serve specialty food at customers' tables; Present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travellers cheques or room billings; Describe menu items including daily specials for customers; Advise on menu selections; Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs; Serve food and beverages; Take orders and relay to kitchen and bar staff; Assist clients/guests with special needs. High school diploma is required. Equivalence considered. Experience an asset.
IV – Cook
Job Duties
Permanent full time Cook : 2 positions. Start wage is $17.0/hour. 35-40 hours per week. Working time would be days, evenings, nights and weekends. Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods; Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies; Inspect kitchens and food service areas; Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food; Clean kitchen and work areas. High school diploma is required. Must have at least 2 years related experience. Equivalence considered.
