L . nanner & co Inc (Accounting company) is looking for an Accounting Manager at 301- 15240 Hwy 10 (56 AVe) Surrey, BC V3S 5K7. Salary is 45.45 dollars per hour and no. of hours are 40 per week. (Even though this is a full-time position, part-time job seekers are encouraged to apply).



Job Description:

• Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of the company

• Develop and implement the financial policies, systems, and procedures

• Prepare or co-ordinate the preparation of financial statements, summaries, and other cost benefit analyses and financial management reports

• Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy

• Co-ordinate the financial planning and budget process and analyze and correct estimates

• Evaluate financial reporting systems, accounting procedures and investment activities and make recommendations for changes to procedures, operating systems, budgets and other financial control functions

• Recruit, organize, train, and manage staff

• Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions

• Establish profitability standards and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles

• Meet financial accounting objectives

• Notify and report to management concerning any trends that are critical to the organization's financial performance.



Education Requirements: • A bachelor degree in business administration, economics, commerce or a related field is required.

• A master’s degree in business administration or commerce may be required.

• Several years of experience in accounting, auditing, budgeting, financial planning and analysis or other financial activities are required.
