Salary $15.50 / hour

Terms of employment Permanent employment: Full time 40 hours / week

Job requirements: Languages (English)

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Experience: Experience an asset

Ability to Supervise: 11-15 people

Security and Safety: Criminal record check

Additional Skills: Establish methods to meet work schedules, Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, Hire food service staff, Prepare budget and cost estimates, Address customers' complaints or concerns

Specific Skills: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, Estimate and order ingredients and supplies, Ensure food service and quality control, Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage, Prepare and submit reports, Must have knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres, Supervise and check assembly of trays, Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys, Establish work schedules

Work Setting:Coffee shop, Fast food outlet or concession

Workers Supervised: Food and beverage servers, Food service counter attendants and food preparers

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Safe Food Handling certificate
