Burrard Landing Enterprises Ltd. dba Mahony’s Tavern in Vancouver is looking for an experienced and skilled Full-time Food Service Supervisor.

Conditions       

• Position: Food Service Supervisor
• Working Hours: Full-Time, Permanent Position, 30-40 hours/week
• Able to work on weekends and holidays according to the work schedule would be good asset
• Hourly Wage: $20.00/hour (wage to be determined depend on experience and skills)
• Vacation: 4% vacation pay

Requirements

• Completion of secondary school
• Experience: 2-3 years of experience in food preparation or service OR Completion of a community college program in food service administration, hotel and restaurant management or related discipline is required
• Language: English

Job Duties

• Supervise and coordinate activities of restaurant staff.
• Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures.
• Establish work schedule.
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage.
• Estimate and order supplies and ingredients.
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
• Perform cashier’s or server’s duty such as taking orders and processing payments if it needs.
