Food Service Supervisor

Conditions       

• Position: Food Service Supervisor (Full-Time, Permanent Position)
• Working Hours: 40 hours per week, 5 days per week
• Ability to do shift work according to work schedule (daytime, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays)
• Hourly Wage: $20.00/hour
• Vacation: 4 % gross salary
• Benefit: Tips and Free & Discounted Beverages
• Number of Position: 1

Requirements

• Completion of secondary school
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in food preparation or service OR Completion of a community college program in food service administration, hotel and restaurant management or related discipline is required.
• Language: English

Job Duties

• Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of restaurant staff
• May participate in the selection of food service staff
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
• Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
• Estimate and order supplies, ingredients, and inventories
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
• Address and resolve customers' complaints or concerns
• Perform cashier’s or server’s duty such as taking orders and processing payments if it needs.
