Food Service Supervisor

Kelowna Fortune Coffee LTD. dba Kettle Valley Coffee & Scoops in Kelowna, BC is looking for a Food Service Supervisor.

Conditions         

• Position: Food Service Supervisor
• Working Hours: Full-time, Permanent position, 30-40 hours/week
• Ability to do shift work according to work schedule (Morning, daytime, evenings, weekend, holiday)
• Wage: $15.20 – $17.00/hour (wage to be determined depend on experience and skills)
• Vacation: 4% gross salary
• Number of Position: 1

Requirements

• Completion of secondary school
• 3 years of experience in food preparation or service OR Completion of a community college program in food service administration, hotel and restaurant management or related discipline is required.
• Language: English

Job Duties

• Supervise and coordinate activities of staff.
• Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures.
• Establish work schedule.
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage.
• Estimate and order supplies and ingredients.
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
• Perform cashier’s or barista’s duty such as taking orders and processing payments if it needs.
