Mauritana Enterprises Ltd. dba. Gusto A Taste of Italy in Vancouver, BC is looking for skilled and experienced Full-time, Permanent Food Service Supervisors.

Conditions

• Position: Food Service Supervisor (Full-Time, Permanent position)
• Wage: $20.00-$23.00/hour (wage to be determined depending on experience and skills
• Working hours: 30-40 hours per week
• Ability to do shift work (morning, daytime, evenings, weekends, and holidays)
• Vacation: 10 days paid holidays per year or 4% gross salary
• Position Available: 2

Requirements

• Completion of secondary school
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in food preparation or service OR Completion of a community college program in food service administration, hotel and restaurant management or related discipline is required
• Language: English is required

Job Duties

• Supervise and coordinate activities of restaurant staff
• Establish work schedule
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
• Estimate and order supplies and ingredients
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
• Perform cashier’s duties such as taking orders and processing payment if needed
• Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures
