Job Title: food service supervisor

NOC code:  62020

Term: Permanent Full-time position

Wage:

• $27.50 per hour
• Employees shall receive overtime pay at the rate of 1½ times their regular rate for all hours worked in excess of forty four (44) hours in a week.

Job Duties:

• Establish methods to meet work schedules
• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
• Estimate and order ingredients and supplies
• Hire food service staff
• Address customers' complaints or concerns
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
• Prepare and submit reports
• Prepare food order summaries for chef
• Must have knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres
• Supervise and check assembly of trays
• Establish work schedules

Education and Experience

High school completion is preferred
